No Concert Tuesday Night

With the weather, the Concert Band/Strings and Jazz Band performance this evening is canceled.  Since we’ve been preparing, we will hopefully put on a performance during class time tomorrow (8:30-9:21) with the concert band and strings groups.  I will send out details later tonight when I know.

Thanks to the Symphonic Band and everyone who came to Lakewood last night!  It was a wonderful concert and I hope your students are excited about continuing band in high school!

Last, please be careful on roads if you have to be out and about today, I was out for a little bit and it’s really treacherous.

Stay warm!

Newsletter 12/6 – Barnes & Noble Night

Good evening!

I hope everyone had a terrific weekend!  A couple reminders heading into our last two weeks before winter break:
Pots, pans, and metal spoons
Still looking for some pots and pans for the 7th grade combined band and orchestra piece.  If you have some collecting dust, we’d be happy to add them to our percussion section!  Thanks!

Barnes & Noble Night!
Tomorrow Monday Dec. 7th 4:00-8:00pm
Come out and buy a book after watching some of our talented music program students perform in small groups at the Barnes & Noble in the Denver West Village north of Colorado Mills!
We will earn a percentage of the profits from the evening sales for the music program and it’s a wonderful way to get in the holiday spirit while supporting our awesome musicians!
We still have a few spots for helpers to wrap presents as well!
Hope to see you there!
